Junior Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant junior to join our finance team at a leading online slots and gaming platform provider. This role is ideal for someone with strong numerical skills and a keen interest in the online gaming industry. The primary responsibility will be to assist in the calculation, reconciliation, and reporting of platform and affiliate fees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and partner agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the calculation of fees, including revenue share, affiliate commissions, and platform usage fees.

• Gather and analyze gaming and transaction data from internal systems and third-party platforms.

• Prepare monthly reports and reconciliations related to revenue, expenses, and fees.

• Ensure the accuracy of financial records by performing data validation and cross-checks.

• Work closely with account management teams to obtain data for financial reporting.

• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes for the Finance Department.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.

• Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and support.

• Propose process improvements and contribute to automation initiatives within the accounting team.

• Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

• Stay updated on accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.

• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

• Report to the Head of Finance on a daily basis.

 

Requirements:

• A high school diploma in a relevant field is required; enrollment in or completion of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

• 0–2 years of experience in accounting or finance (internships and part-time roles count!).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP,formulas, etc.)

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.

• Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data entry and processing.

• Good organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• English is a mandatory (high level). Spanish is a plus.

• Familiarity with online platforms, gaming, or affiliate marketing is a plus.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
